Are Goldendoodle Puppies a good pet?

What are Goldendoodles Personalities and Temperament like?

They have loving and affectionate personalities like the Golden Retriever but also have the Superintelligence and hypoallergenic traits of the poodle.   They are loyal, very eager to please, and make great companions for families or individuals.  With their smaller size, they make great apartment dogs.   They get very attached to people that spend time with them and love to be close to them.  As with all dogs, a dog’s temperament is a direct result of the type of training, socialization, and overall time spent with your puppy.

Are Goldendoodles good pets for families with kids?

Absolutely!  Goldendoodles are very loving and have great temperaments.  Doodles have lots of energy and will play for hours with children.  They also love to cuddle with the family when they get tired.  Mini Doodles are also good with other pets in the household.

What is the Lifespan of Goldendoodles

The average expected lifespan of a Mini Goldendoodle is 9-15 years.

Goldendoodle Grooming and Care Best Practices

Most Goldendoodles will need to be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks.   Some people like the look of longer hair and wait 8-9 weeks between groomings.   You should also brush your puppy’s coat several times each week.  This will help prevent tangles and matting which can cause irritation or infections on your puppy’s skin.

Most Goldendoodles have longer ears that need to be inspected regularly to make sure they are not dirty or have any signs of an infection.

-Picking A Puppy-

Puppy reservations are made in order that deposits are received. Selections will be made at 5 weeks on reservations placed on upcoming litters. Deposits made on puppies 5 weeks & older will be non-refundable. We take pride in assisting with matching the perfect puppy with your family. Picks can be carried over to another litter if a current puppy is not a match for your family. Deposits on carried-over picks and reservations made after seven weeks are nonrefundable.

Our puppies will come home with a puppy packet that includes the following: A written guarantee for one year on genetic defects. All shots and deworming records. A clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian. A small bag of puppy food and feeding information.

All pet puppies will be sold with limited registration unless otherwise discussed with the breeder. Limited registration means that the dog is registered but no litters born from that dog are eligible for registration. Limited registration can be changed to full registration only by the original litter owner.
